the most common cancer among women in India and second most common form of cancer in the world as a whole.
Cervical Cancer remains the major cause of death in women accounting for an estimated 110000 deaths every year.

the rates are especially high in India due to lack of awareness and access to appropriate screening programs,
Aged 25-55 years require screening for Cervical Cancer . Awareness programs are proven to be successful in countries like America and Australia,
where Cervical Cancer does not even appear in the top ten of cancers affecting women. The program,s target is a group of 60 women between the age group of 22 to 55 years.
The medical camp program involves orientation and procedures, visual inspections with acetic acid, led by gynecologist, Dr. Rita Dhingra.
